About EGP

The European Federation of Green parties/ the European Green Party represents Green Parties throughout Europe.

Today the EGP is made up of 35 Green member parties in 31 European countries.

It facilitates communication between member parties, Green Parliamentarians and Ministers.

It coordinates Green European policy and supports small Green parties in order to strengthen the Green political movement in Europe as a whole.

The European Federation of Green Parties was one of the Founding Federations of the Global Green Coordination. Many of its member parties took part in the Global Green Gathering in Canberra in April 2001.  A second Global Green meeting is being prepared and scheduled for January 2008 in Nairobi, Kenia. www.globalgreens.info
